The last time that ICAEW licensed over 800 insolvency practitioners was in 1998.

ICAEW continues to invest time and resource into this key sector which is vital to UK PLC.

Taking your insolvency licence from ICAEW gives you free membership of ICAEW's Restructuring and Insolvency Community through which, amongst other things, you get access to regular topical webinars. In 2017 over 2,500 members of this  community signed up for our webinars covering key topics, such as the 2016 Insolvency Rules, the General Data Protection Regulation and anti-money laundering regulation changes.

Attendance is free for licence holders and their staff at our popular regional technical events which provide essential updates on the latest compliance and legal issues affecting the sector. As well as access to blogs, helpsheets and newsletters on pertinent issues we provide our licence holders with a CPD Aide-Memoire each year ensuring you don't miss a thing. We also have two logos which ICAEW-licensed insolvency practitioners can use to distinguish themselves in the market place. There’s one logo for individuals and a logo for firms if all the insolvency practitioners in a practice take their licence from ICAEW.
