This WIF networking event was hosted at Chartered Accountants' Hall, London on 1 December 2010.

WIF is the Finance and Management Faculty Women In Finance network.

This will be an interactive evening for the reluctant networker, hosted by Clare Concannon of Positive Experience Training. Networking can have many different objectives: maybe you are trying to market yourself, trying to resolve a specific business issue, or simply want to share experiences with a peer in a similar sector? It can also take many forms and doesn't simply have to be exchanging cards at a formal function. Clare will explore what methods best suit your needs and personality.

We will consider: alternative approaches to networking, using others to help you find key contacts, the role of online networking, overcoming emotional barriers and more. The evening will be full of tips, strategies and solutions.
