The helpsheets are:

The helpsheets are not intended to provide comprehensive advice, and will also need to consider the Data Protection Bill which is still going through parliament. You should refer to additional sources of information where appropriate, including legal advice if necessary.

There will be a future update to the engagement letter template to fully incorporate these GDPR clauses and other planned changes to the main helpsheet on engagement letters. Other resources to support ICAEW members with the transition to GDPR are available on the GDPR hub.

These include a guide to GDPR, helpsheets, answers to members questions, checklists and webinars. You will also find links to guidance from the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) - the regulator for data protection.

ICAEW members can also discuss their specific situation with Technical Advisory Services on +44 (0)1908 248 250.
