We offer access to specialist databases and online resources to help support your work or research. These premium databases cover accounting, tax, legal information, company information and business.

Databases available via the website

EBSCO Business Source Corporate
Access major monthly and weekly business titles from around the world, a huge number of professional trade magazines covering a wide range of business sectors and academic journals. It also offers many detailed market research reports, industry profiles, country economic reports and a selection of eBooks.

Credo Reference
A vast selection of reference books including the latest encyclopaedias, dictionaries, thesauri, and books of quotations, as well as a range of legal and business titles.

Emerald Insight
A portfolio of international academic and professional journals covering accounting, finance, financial regulation and money laundering. Three titles are available online, with the remainder available to visitors to the Library or through the enquiry team.

MyiLibrary
Over 450 eBooks covering business, accountancy, tax, finance, career development, soft skills and other topics.

Who's Who Online
Access to over 33,000 biographies of notable and influential people worldwide.

Databases available through the enquiry team

Although we are unable to provide direct access to these databases through the website due to licence restrictions, we can search databases on behalf of ICAEW members, ACA students and other entitled users. A range of international company information databases providing individual company reports for public and private companies across the world.

CCH online
Major tax and accountancy database including UK and international accounting standards, industry accounting and auditing guides, digests, model engagement letters and more.

Equifax
Database providing company financials and credit rating reports on UK limited and non-limited companies, with a selection of reports for non-UK companies.

FAME
Detailed company information on over 2 million public and private companies in UK and Republic of Ireland.

IBFD Tax Research Platform
International tax platform featuring a range of tax journals, databases and an extensive collection of tax treaties.

International Corporate Procedures (now available through Lexis Library)
A collection of legal information and practical data to assist businesses and their professional advisers in forming, administering and finding out about the principal forms of business enterprise around the world.

Lexis Library
Key legal, tax and regulatory sources, including cases and a selection of forms and precedents.

Proquest Accounting and Tax
A heavyweight accounting research database which includes entries from over 2,350 global accountancy publications from 1905 to the present. Previously known as the Accountants' Index or the Accounting and Tax Index.

PwC Inform
Online access to accounting and auditing standards, regulatory guidance and relevant legislation, as well as PwC's technical guidance, tools and practice aids, for both UK GAAP and IFRS.

Taylor & Francis
A collection of accountancy journals.

TaxHub
Summaries and full text indexing from a variety of tax-related sources and over 50 titles.

TIS online
Guidance and commentary covering the public services sector.

Westlaw
UK and EU legislation, case law and commentary. To complement this Westlaw provides a collection of UK Regulatory and Guidance materials which are intended to offer context and guidance on the practical interpretation of UK legislation, such as HMRC manuals and Parliamentary papers.

A collection of accountancy journals.
