ICAEW Chief Executive visits Cyprus

Michael Izza visited Cyprus in November 2018 and met ICAEW members, the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC), the Cyprus Public Audit Oversight Board and other major stakeholders to discuss latest developments at ICAEW, as well as opportunities and challenges for the accountancy profession.

A breakfast meeting was held in Nicosia for all our members where Michael set out key developments on trust in the profession, transformational technology trends, Brexit, a new member tool: Finance in the Digital World and ICAEW’s new qualification, the BFP (Business and Finance Professional).

A panel discussion also took place co-organised by ICAEW, the British High Commission and the Cyprus-UK Business Association on the exciting developments in technology and their impact on business, finance and the profession.
