The month of May marks the time when many begin to plan ahead for the summer break, but also the chance to update CPD requirements before then, so now is the time to book yourself on to some of the many courses available in and around London to avoid the summer rush.

Tax planning for the family
This course will provide a refresher and update on family tax planning opportunities covering a number of taxes at various stages of life and business, with the aim to show ways in which we can assist clients.

Audit update and current issues
This course will provide an update on the most recent changes and current issues affecting auditing in the UK and their practical implications for the planning and execution of audits. Topics covered will include guidance on the application of revised UK and Ireland International Standards on Auditing, issues arising following the publication of the revised Ethical Standard for Auditors and getting the audit report right in light of recent changes.

Finance Act 2018
This course will cover all of the major clauses in the Finance Act 2018 and will concentrate on the practical implications for accountants and their clients. The course will also cover legislation taking effect from April 2018, a practical review of changes from other recent Finance Acts and HMRC’s standard for agents.

FRS 102 – Practical scenarios and how to deal with them
