Thank you to our members - your input is having a real impact
24 April 2020: CEO Michael Izza addresses ICAEW's members during the coronavirus pandemic.
We would like to thank you, our members, for your continued input and engagement during this challenging period.
We are proud of everything you’re doing under extraordinary pressure to help the organisations you advise. Navigating on their behalf the complexities of the support put in place over the last month has been a professional challenge of the highest order. In meeting that, you are giving millions of companies the chance to survive this crisis and recover in the weeks and months to come.
Your ongoing feedback, insights and questions are invaluable to us. Not only do they shape our guidance and resources, but they are crucial to our ability to influence decision-making and policy-making at the heart of Government.
We have repeatedly pressed ministers, regulators and banks about the gaps and obstacles in their support schemes, and, to their credit, they have listened and acted, making improvements in design and implementation.
Your input has had, and continues to have, real impact - helping to get cash moving, protecting businesses and saving jobs.
Please keep sharing your experiences with us so we know what is and isn’t working in the real economy. We have updated the questions asked in our Insights form and are eager to hear success stories, as well as where issues remain - along with how organisations are looking to the future.
We aim to provide you with the best information to do your job during this challenging time and would encourage you to sign up to receive our daily email containing relevant, practical, and timely guidance.
