Demonstrating your impact
The operating environment for charities is more demanding than ever with increasing regulation, resource constraints and continuing uncertainty. There is scrutiny by the media and through social media. Measuring impact is an important means of communicating with donors and demonstrating accountability to stakeholders, however it can be complex. In the session we will explore impact reporting as a tool for enabling organisations to improve their strategic and operational decision making by aligning these with the charity’s strategic objectives. The session will include a case study from Brooke sharing lessons from their impact journey, from field to reporting.
12:40
Closing keynote: The future of charity
The Victorian paradigm of charity is in crisis. Join Daisy as she explores what the future of charity could look like in 2044, and how we need to come together now, as a sector, to build the foundations for a more collaborative, agile and effective future for social good. Because if we don’t invest now in building the future we need and want, we will inevitably sleepwalk into the worst case scenarios.
