New practice: Companies House bank details change

Companies House users who pay fees by BACS should note that Companies House has changed its bank details, and change their systems accordingly

October 2020

This update was published in Legal Alert - October 2020

Legal Alert is a monthly checklist from Atom Content Marketing highlighting new and pending laws, regulations, codes of practice and rulings that could have an impact on your business.

The new account was introduced from 1 September 2020. All letters sent to BACS users by Companies House will include the new account details, and explain how to pay into the new account. The new details have also been included on online Companies House Guidance, and are being included in emails to users.

However, the old bank account remains open until the end of February 2021 to make sure that users can move to the new account with minimum inconvenience.
