Pensions Advisory Service: Auto-enrolment
The Pensions Advisory Service is an independent non-profit organisation that has provided information and guidance on pensions since 1983. The TPAS website provides a dedicated page on auto-enrolment and an auto-enrolment factsheet for workers (updated March 2017). 

Sage Guide to Automatic Enrolment
Free guidance for employers, published in 2017. Includes a seven-step rollout plan to implement a workplace pension, as well as common pitfalls to avoid and stories from businesses that have successfully implemented auto enrolment.

2017 Review of automatic enrolment: PLSA response
Report from the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association (PLSA), looking at how auto-enrolment policy can reach its full potential. 

Pensions trends survey report
A regular survey from the Association of Consulting Actuaries which tracks trends in pension auto-enrolment across firms of all sizes. The 2018 report calls on the government to set out its long-term pensions policy on automatic enrolment contributions.

Smaller Firms' Pension Survey
A biennial survey from the Association of Consulting Actuaries which looks at pension trends in businesses with fewer than 250 employees. The 2016/17 survey found that 36-40% of employees of the smallest employers (employing fewer than 10 workers) are typically ineligible for auto-enrolment and 57% of the smallest employers say auto-enrolment is 'very complex'.
