Screening assurance

The ICAEW training film False Assurance is an opportunity for all firms to improve the education of employees, clients and the wider business community.

Training films are not always as engaging as they could be. There are, of course, exceptions; such as productions featuring the comedians John Cleese and Rowan Atkinson (as a YouTube search can demonstrate), and ICAEW’s first foray into the production of drama films – False Assurance. You will not find False Assurance on YouTube or being distributed on general release in cinemas, but it will soon be showing on a screen near you. It is being used as a training aid by various accounting firms and it is included in the programme for the faculty’s Spring 2017 roadshow.
