Research conducted since the start of the year has underlined the challenges facing UK companies doing business in the EU post-Brexit. A survey of 1,000 – mostly small – businesses carried out by the British Chambers of Commerce in the second half of January found that nearly half (49%) of exporters were facing difficulties when trying to adapt to changes in the trade of goods.
