Who’s on the move or been promoted in legal advisory.

Michelle Sally (1) has joined TLT as a partner in the technology, intellectual property and data team in London. She has moved from Ashurst, where she advised clients in the digital sector. 

The law firm has also recruited regulatory lawyer Amanda Hulme (2) to lead its financial services regulation team, from Addleshaw Goddard, where she was head of financial regulation for 18 years. 

It has also recruited experienced project finance specialist Victoria Quek (3) as a partner in its future energy team in London, from Eversheds. She has more than 20 years’ experience acting on renewable energy projects in the UK as well as Europe and the Middle East.

In addition, TLT has promoted restructuring and insolvency lawyer Ainslie Benzie (4) to partner.

Taylor Wessing has recruited Shervin Shameli as an investment fund formation partner in London from Reed Smith, where he was co-head of its London private funds formation group.

Slaughter and May has promoted Aleezeh Liaqat to partner in its private equity team in London. She has been with the law firm for 11 years.

A&L Goodbody has recruited John Palmer as an energy partner in its corporate team in Belfast, from Shoosmiths. Prior to that, he worked for DWF.
