Nicol Fraser has joined LDC as managing partner and head of London, from BGF, where he was head of London and the South East. He spent three years with BGF and before that 20 years at Dunedin, latterly leading the new investment team. Prior to that, he spent five years with Bridgepoint Capital in Glasgow.
Westbridge has promoted Rebecca Sinclair (1) to investment director and Luke Gilbert (2) to investment manager.
Sinclair joined the firm in 2019 from HSBC’s mid-market financial sponsors team. Gilbert joined the firm last year from the London office of US financial services firm, Stephens.
Graphite Capital has promoted Nick Eichorn (1), Matt Hamilton-Allen (2) and Emma Winter (3) to partner and Edgar Borg-Rodriguez (4), Zoe Jackson (5), Alex Hearne (6) and Tom Llewellyn (7) to investment director.
Eichorn joined the private equity firm’s value creation team as director in 2022, from Aurelius Investments. He previously worked for Minerva, PwC, Deloitte (in Australia) and UHY Hacker Young.
Hamilton-Allen is an investment partner. He joined Graphite in 2022 from Rutland Partners, and before that Hawkpoint (now Canaccord Genuity).
Winter joined the value creation team as director in 2022 from the Birchman Group, where she was director of digital transformation. She previously worked for De Beers and Tesla.
Borg-Rodriguez joined in 2021 from Rothschild, having trained as an ACA with PwC.
Jackson joined in 2020 from AGC Equity Partners, having previously worked for Barclays investment banking M&A team.
Hearne joined in 2021 as an investment executive from Citibank, where he spent five years in investment banking, working in M&A.
Llewellyn joined in 2021 from PwC, where he was a manager in transaction services and had trained as an ACA.
Inflexion has promoted Molly Hindhaugh (1), Toby Lane (2) and Olivia Craig (3) to assistant director in its investment team, and Vincent Wilhelm (4) to investment executive.
Hindhaugh joined two years ago from Alcuin Capital, having started her career at Citibank.
Lane joined in 2021 from Caledonia Private Capital. Prior to that she spent two years at Lazard, having trained as an ACA with PwC in its valuations team.
Craig is based in Manchester and joined the firm three years ago from PwC, where she spent seven years in the corporate finance team.
Wilhelm has been with Inflexion in Amsterdam for three years.
In the firm’s value acceleration team Jan Beitner (5) has been promoted to director in the data and AI team; Rory Cooke (6) to senior data analyst; and Lisa Houston (7) to senior business change manager.
Beitner joined the firm two years ago from Boston Consulting Group, where he spent five years. Cooke has been with Inflexion four years, and Houston joined three years ago from WeWork, having started her career with PwC. Kevin Adeson (8), has also joined as senior adviser to the firm, from HSBC, where he was vice chair of global banking and markets. He has more than 30 years private equity and investment banking experience and prior to HSBC, he was at Morgan Stanley, where he created and led its European leveraged and acquisition finance business.
Ian Moore has taken over as managing partner of CBPE from Sean Dinnen, who has been managing partner since 2012 and will now take on the role of chairman and chief investment officer.
Moore joined CBPE from HgCapital in 2011, having spent 12 years with KPMG, where he trained as an ACA before moving into corporate finance.
Dinnen has been with CBPE for more than 25 years.
Sarah Strachan has joined Octopus Energy Generation as senior investment manager, from KPMG’s corporate finance team, where she was an associate director, and specialised in the energy sector. She previously worked for BP and Eni.
FPE has promoted Claire Sweet (1) and Harriet Hunt to investment director.
Sweet joined in 2021 from KPMG, where she trained as an ACA in audit, before moving into the M&A team and specialising in the TMT sector.
Hunt joined in 2019 as investment manager from PwC, where she spent four years in corporate finance.
Mobeus has promoted Jordan Kay to associate director. He joined the private equity firm as investment manager in 2022 from Sandton Capital Partners. Prior to that he worked for Lincoln international and before that for EY, where he trained as a chartered accountant.
Foresight Group, the listed private equity and infrastructure investment manager, has opened an office in Cardiff to manage a £50m equity fund for the Investment Fund for Wales – the IFW-Foresight Equity Finance Fund. Geraint McGrath (1) has been recruited from Deloitte as senior investment manager; and Ruby Godrich (2), from the Development Bank of Wales as investment manager. Stephen Galvin (3), who heads up the team, joined as fund principal last year, from the Development Bank of Wales, where he was a senior investment executive.
In Edinburgh, Harry Staples (4) has joined Foresight as investment manager, from Maven Capital Partners. He previously worked for the Scottish National Investment Bank, having spent seven years with PwC where he trained as a chartered accountant.
Roshan Puri (1) has been promoted to partner and Katie Jade Harrison to investment manager at YFM Equity Partners. Puri joined the firm in 2020 from Calculus Capital, where he spent seven years. Before that, he was with EY for five years, training as a chartered accountant in London and then working in the firm’s New York office.
Harrison joined the firm as an associate last year, from Capita.
