Lizzie Meadowcroft (1) has joined LDC in Manchester as a value creation partner, working with portfolio companies on integration, separation and operational improvement. She has joined from Cortus Advisory, where she spent a year as a partner. Prior to that she spent 19 years with KPMG in Manchester, initially training as an ACA in audit, before moving into transaction services.

And in the East Midlands, Kevin O’Loughlin (2) has joined as investment director from NorthEdge, where he was also a director. Prior to that he spent three years at Deloitte working in transactions, having started his career in the corporate finance team at EY.

Joe Tager has joined Tikehau Capital in London as head of UK private equity, moving from LDC, where he spent six years and was an investment director. Prior to that, he spent eight years as a partner in investment firm Twin Capital, having started his career in business recovery services at PwC, where he trained as an accountant.

August Equity has recruited John Western as a director in its investment team. He has moved from Graphite Capital, where he spent nine years working on new investments across multiple sectors. He started his career with investment bankers Jefferies.

Pacific Avenue Capital Partners, a Los Angeles-headquartered private equity firm focused on mid-market corporate divestitures and carve-outs, has opened its first European office in Paris. Xavier Lambert has joined as managing director and head of Europe, from OpenGate Capital in Paris, where he was a principal responsible for due diligence and executing European acquisitions across the aerospace and defence, building products and metals sectors.

Mid-market private equity firm Palatine has recruited Nauman Lodhi to its Manchester buyout team as investment executive from BDO in Birmingham, where he spent three years working in M&A. Prior to that, he spent four years with PwC in London, where he trained as an ACA.

European real estate investor Aboria Capital has recruited Will Lucas as investment manager from Mark Capital Management, where he spent eight years. Prior to that he trained as an ACA with PwC before moving into transaction services.
