Burges Salmon has recruited Jonathan Cantor as a partner in its corporate real estate team in London, from Dentons. He has more than 25 years experience as a corporate lawyer in the sector. Prior to spending nine years at Dentons, Cantor worked at Nabarro for 16 years.

McDermott Will & Emery has recruited Kathleen Wong as a partner in its London transactions practice group. Her focus is on international corporate finance and restructurings and she has joined from A&O Shearman, where she spent 23 years.

Clifford Chance has made four promotions to corporate partner in London: Olivia Higgs (1), Patrick Meniru (2), Herbert Swaniker (3) and Alex Walker (4).
All four joined 10 years ago.

Meanwhile, in Europe, the firm has promoted Ernst van der Touw (5) in Amsterdam, Aleksander Tombiński (6) in Brussels, Samuel Frommelt (7) in Munich and Tobias Nogami Kamerling (8) in Düsseldorf to corporate partner. And Chloe Cheng (9) in Singapore and Michael Van Arsdall (10) in Washington DC have been made up to corporate partner.
