ECI Partners has recruited Neal Griffith (1) as CFO from Equistone Partners Europe, where he was CFO and Chief Risk Officer, having joined as group financial controller in 2017. Prior to that he worked for BC Partners. He succeeds Philip Shuttleworth, who spent almost 30 years with ECI.

And Simona Everts (2) has joined the private equity firm’s commercial team as an associate to support expansion of its portfolio, with a focus on European growth. She has joined from OC&C Strategy Consultants where she worked for three years. Prior to this she spent two years at Baringa Partners. She is fluent in Dutch.

Bernardo Sottomayor has taken on full responsibility for leading 3i’s European Infrastructure team, following the departure of co-head Scott Moseley. Sottomayor joined 3i in 2015 from Antin Infrastructure Partners.

OMERS has recruited Alexander Fraser as global head of private equity from 65 Equity Partners, where he was partner and head of US, and was based in San Francisco. He has now relocated to New York. Fraser previously worked for Bridgepoint, GI Partners and JP Morgan. He has succeeded Michael Graham in this new role.

Mark Roberts has joined Praetura Ventures as an operational partner. Previously he co-founded and successfully scaled Beer Hawk, which was sold to AB InBev in 2022. He is an industry adviser for MBA students at the Saïd Business School, at the University of Oxford.

Hamish Pearson has joined Ama Capital as investment executive from HMT, where he spent five years and was a transaction services senior manager. Prior to that he spent five years at Grant Thornton, where he trained as a chartered accountant.

Tom Gilbride has joined Northcote Equity as an investor from DC Advisory. He previously worked for Livingbridge and GP Bullhound, having started his career with BDO, where he trained as an ACA.
