TLT has recruited M&A and equity capital markets specialist Paul Keohane (1) as partner in its national corporate team, based in the Manchester office. He joins from Addleshaw Goddard, where he spent three years. He previously worked for Knights, EY, Eversheds Sutherland, Stuarts Walker Hersant and Brachers.
In Bristol, TLT has promoted corporate lawyer Alison Johnson (2) to knowledge partner. She has been with the firm 10 years, having previously worked for Osborne Clarke and Womble Bond Dickinson, where she trained.
The law firm has also recruited planning and infrastructure specialists Mustafa Latif-Aramesh (3) and Duncan O’Connor (4) from Broadfield and BD Pitmans respectively
Burges Salmon has recruited Jonathan Cantor (1), a corporate and M&A lawyer, as partner in its corporate real estate team. He previously spent nine years with Dentons and 16 with Nabarro.
The law firm has also promoted five corporate lawyers to director: Amy Carr (2), Guy Francis (3), Gregory Nash (4), Bethan Penryhn-Jones (5) and Madelin Sinclair McAusland (6). Carr joined the Bristol office five years ago from BT, where she trained as a lawyer. Francis joined the London office from Simmons & Simmons, having previously spent three years with Burges Salmon and trained as a solicitor with Clifford Chance. Nash is based in the Bristol office, which he joined 12 years ago from Clifford Chance, where he trained as a lawyer. Also based in Bristol, Penryhn-Jones joined seven years ago from Acuity Law; she trained with Hugh James. Sinclair McAusland joined the Bristol office last year from Virgin Management, where she spent seven years and was legal counsel. She trained with Allen & Overy.
Addleshaw Goddard has promoted three lawyers to corporate partner: Tom Crill (1) in London, David Parker (2) in Leeds and Jasem Alanizy (3) in Riyadh. Crill joined five years ago from Macfarlanes, where he trained as a lawyer and spent 10 years. Parker has been with the firm 13 years. Alanizy joined two years ago from Bracewell in Dubai. He previously worked for Dentons in Dubai, having trained in London with Pinsent Masons.
The law firm has also promoted three to partner in its infrastructure projects and energy practice: Clare Mendelle (4) and Karen Rowe (5) in London, and Karl Holtkamp (6) in Berlin.
Taylor Wessing has promoted Richard Faichney (1), Lacy Gratton (2) and Dannie Hanna (3) to corporate partner. Faichney specialises in VC and technology and life sciences. He joined the firm six years ago from Slaughter & May, where he trained as a solicitor. Gratton specialises in real estate and joined four years ago from Greenberg Traurig. She trained with King & Wood Mallesons. Hanna, in Ireland, advises on M&A. He previously worked for Arthur Cox in Dublin and Allens in Australia.
The firm has also promoted two senior counsel: Mila Pencheva (4), in financial services regulatory and Alexandra Poland (5) in private equity.
