Burges Salmon has recruited Lillian Mackenzie as partner in its projects team in Edinburgh. She has joined from DLA Piper, where she headed up its UK projects practice, specialising in infrastructure finance, major outsourcings, and public-private partnerships. She has 25 years of experience advising on complex infrastructure projects across the UK, spending 10 years at DLA Piper and 15 at MacRoberts in Edinburgh.

Shoosmiths has recruited VC specialist Geoff Dragon as corporate partner in London. He has joined from Mishcon de Reya, where he was a partner working in London and Cambridge. Dragon previously spent nine years with Taylor Vinters in Cambridge, training as a solicitor and making partner in 2022, before the law firm merged with Mishcon de Reya in 2023.
