Gibson Dunn has promoted Osvaldo Galeano (1) and Michael Skouras (2) to corporate partner in the London office. Galeano focuses on M&A, particularly for private equity and corporate clients in the infrastructure space. He is originally from Paraguay and joined the firm four years ago from Cravath, Swaine & Moore. Skouras advises European and US financial sponsors and other private capital investors on cross-border leveraged M&A. He joined two years ago from White & Case.
Addleshaw Goddard has recruited partner Will Turner from Dentons. He has joined the law firm’s banking and finance practice in London. Before spending five years at Dentons, he spent 11 years at Linklaters.
Taylor Wessing has recruited Laurence Ren as a partner to establish and develop a China desk within the firm’s Paris office. She has joined from DS Avocats in Paris, where she spent eight years and also ran a China desk. Rong Yang has also joined from DS Avocats as an associate, to work alongside Ren.
Shoosmiths has recruited John Dawson (1) and Graham Knight (2) as partners in its banking and finance team. Dawson has joined from CMS, and Knight from A&O Shearman.
