This helpsheet has been issued by ICAEW’s Technical Advisory Service to outline the key principles governing the marketing of practice activities. It advises on the means by which firms make contact with potential customers, and the restrictions and requirements regarding what may or may not be said about the firm in order to attract new business. This helpsheet should be read in conjunction with Section 250 of the ICAEW Code of Ethics.
