Do you consider yourself a competent Microsoft Excel user? Have you ever had any formal training or have you picked it up by trial and error, reading or watching online tutorials and talking with colleagues? Excel and Advanced Excel online training courses from Filtered are part of your Excel Community membership.
The Excel Community can now offer you the chance to formally assess your level of spreadsheet expertise and improve your skill set using personalised online training. Our partner, Filtered provides this.
This training is available for beginner, intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel users through two comprehensive online training courses. Each course is personalised to the needs of the user through patent-pending technology called the Filter. The Filter asks questions to identify knowledge gaps and make learning recommendations. It links answers from similar users to suggest which training modules someone will find most useful. The result is focused training that is shorter and more relevant. The training takes less time to complete resulting in higher engagement and has a 26% greater impact on performance.
After completing the Filter every user receives:
The Excel IQ score calculates in the same way as an Intelligence Quotient (IQ) where the average score of test-takers is 100, and the spread of scores is adjusted so that 95% of candidates score between 70 and 130. One important advantage of this type of adjusted score – called a T-score – is that it can be compared meaningfully between different tests because variations in the difficulty of questions are factored out. These tests reliably measure improvement in Excel, even though users answer a different set of questions before and after any training.
The Excel course is perfect for beginner to intermediate users. It consists of 160 bite-sized modules that teach through text, video, practice exercises and synoptic tasks. Highlights include:
The Advanced Excel course takes users Microsoft Excel abilities to the next level. It demystifies the most complex areas of Excel and gives you the tools to complete complex spreadsheeting tasks. Highlights include:
Filtered training is fully responsive meaning it can be taken on any computer, tablet or smartphone. All training is cloud-based, which allows access anytime, anywhere.
