Biography

Irene Hagan is a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Information Systems Auditor with over 15 years local (Ghana) and international experience in Finance, Governance, Risk and Compliance. She has extensive expertise in internal, external and IT audit, working with FTSE 100 clients in the Financial and Telecommunications industries. Irene has served as Head of Internal audit with one of the world’s biggest telecommunications companies – Vodafone, in their Ghana operating company.

Prior to Vodafone she worked in the Advisory and Risk assurance services practice in PriceWaterhouseCoopers UK and USA with FTSE 100 clients in the Financial Services industry and the External audit practice of KPMG where she audited clients in the infrastructure sector. Ms. Hagan holds a B.Sc. Hons in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from the Hult international business school, Cambridge Massachusetts.
