Roll of Honour - Articled Clerks

In the Second World War thousands of articled clerks served in the armed forces and gained many decorations, including one French resistance medal with rosette.
Contents

The list on this page has been extracted from the handwritten roll of honour displayed in the Members' Room at Chartered Accountants Hall in London.

The following 273 entries for articled clerks have been transcribed by a volunteer using the reproduction of the original handwritten Roll of Honour held by the Library which includes some additions and corrections made in pencil.

Since the transcription was published online we have been made aware of some errors that had been made in the compilation of entries for the original vellum roll of honour. These have been corrected in the online roll and a note detailing the changes can be seen at the end of the list.
