Assurance Mapping is a technique that can be used to both improve the clarity over assurances being generated in a business and enable better use to be made of the total audit/assurance resource. As an aide to members trying to develop assurance maps with their clients we have developed a series of helpsheets designed to simplify the thought processes or aid the development of maps.
