If you need a new certificate, you can order a replacement by completing an online form, confirming your membership number and personal details. You can then choose from a drop-down menu which certificate your require:
- ACA membership certificate;
- FCA certificate;
- BFP certificate;
- Life membership certificate;
- 50 years certificate; or
- Practising certificate.
All certificates are only available in hard copy and are A4 in size. Along with your posted certificate you will be given information on our framing service.
Please note: ICAEW does not currently offer digital or electronic certificates.
Cost of replacement certificates
The cost of replacement varies according to location and will be charged by the registered primary billing address on your ICAEW account. Please ensure this is updated before ordering a replacement certificate.

When will certificates arrive?
All certificates are sent directly to your requested postal address unless you are based in UAE or Vietnam where certificates are initially sent to your local ICAEW office and then sent onto your requested address.
All certificates are sent via Royal Mail standard post. It is not possible to request certificates are sent tracked or via a recorded service.
For certificates being sent within the UK it can take between 4-6 weeks to arrive, for those being sent internationally it usually takes between 8-10 weeks to arrive.
