ICAEW Foundation – your charity
At this time of uncertainty ICAEW Foundation is thinking about the wellbeing of all of our students, your friends and your families. We encourage those of you who are in our mentoring programme to continue to engage with your mentee during this time for support and friendship. You can also reach out to the Foundation at any time, by email or telephone (details below) if you would just like to talk. Do remember this will pass and we will all come out of it with a stronger appreciation for our friends, families, our way of life and the many things that we too often take for granted.
With the support of ICAEW members, ICAEW Foundation is helping to create life-changing opportunities to transform, through education, the lives of students from financially challenged backgrounds.

ICAEW Foundation Building Futures bursary programme
In recent years we have grown our geographical reach and created our Building Futures programme. This programme provides bursaries to a growing number of talented and ambitious students undertaking new professional accountancy qualifications in countries such as Cambodia, Ghana, Malawi and Lesotho. We are delighted to announce our 2020 programme:
- 10 bursaries for students of the ICA Malawi chartered accountancy qualification, for two academic years and
- Six bursaries for two academic years for students of the chartered accountancy qualification offered by ICA Ghana
This is your opportunity to acknowledge the advantages and benefits of being an ICAEW Chartered Accountant and make a real difference to the aspiring professional lives of current and future generations.
