Liverpool Society of Chartered Accountants
We organise events for members, ranging from CPD courses to annual dinners, social events and discussion groups, as well as representing the interests of chartered accountants in the district to the wider business community.
Over 20 young chartered accountants from the Liverpool City Region celebrated becoming qualified at a special ceremony this week hosted by ICAEW - the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Together with our legal colleagues, the Liverpool Society of Chartered Accountants has recently launched an initiative to mentor talented females – aimed at encouraging more women into leadership.
Business leaders and Finance Directors from across the North West attending the Business Members Forum met bright and early at the Cammell Laird Shipyard to hear from Jonathan Brown, Managing Director - Energy.
The Liverpool Society of Chartered Accountants is proud to be the oldest Society of Chartered Accountants in the country, having been formed in 1870. It is one of the four Founding Societies of the ICAEW.
The Society plays a key role in the training and development of chartered accountants, offering excellent technical and soft skills courses.
We are pleased to have strong links with other professional organisations in the area. We also act as a link between the ICAEW in Moorgate Place and members in the district. We are always keen to hear from members who wish to become more involved with our work.
