Lucian Cook Head of Residential Research, Savills

Lucian is one of the UK’s leading and most quoted commentators on the UK housing market. At Savills he leads a team of 30 highly respected researchers. Collectively they cover everything from social housing to the prime markets of central London and development land to residential investment. He is jointly responsible for formulating and presenting Savills' views on the residential property and development land markets to a range of clients and journalists. He provides consultancy advice to landowners, developers, housebuilders, and investors.

John Gaskell
John Gaskell Head of Personal Financial Planning, ICAEW

John oversees ICAEW’s PFP Community and ICAEW’s Personal Financial Planning Advisory Group. His role involves liaising with the FCA and other regulators, working across different areas of ICAEW and with external stakeholders. He began his career as a private client stockbroker and investment manager before working as an independent financial adviser.

Alice Harris Legal Director, Birketts

Alice is a Legal Director in Birketts’ Real Estate Disputes team. Alice has a wealth of experience in advising parties in respect of residential housing disputes as well as dealing with the non-contentious aspects of occupational agreements such as drafting and advising on agreements and obligations. She speaks and writes regularly on the latest developments in housing law and is the “go to” person for clients and colleagues for any work relating to the private rental market.

Daniel Mahoney Economist, Handelsbanken

Daniel is UK Economist for Handelsbanken and acts as Deputy to the UK Chief Economist. He regularly addresses Handelsbanken’s client network at events across the UK and appears on numerous media outlets. Prior to joining Handelsbanken UK, Daniel worked for several politicians – including Nigel Lawson and Amber Rudd – and was Head of Economic Research at the Centre for Policy Studies, a Westminster-based think tank.

Charlotte Wormstone Partner, Birketts

Charlotte is a Partner in the Property Disputes team at Birketts and co-heads the specialist Leasehold Enfranchisement sector. Charlotte deals with all aspects of contentious property matters, including commercial landlord and tenant, real property rights (restrictive covenants, easements and boundary matters) and residential development land disputes. She specialises in leasehold enfranchisement including matters concerning tenants’ rights of first refusal arising under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987, long lease residential disputes and property related insolvency issues.
