Biography

Mohammad is a ICAEW, Canada and Pakistan Chartered Accountant.  He is also a Fellow member of ACCA and Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) UK.  He has extensive accountancy practice experience as a senior partner in various chartered accountant firms.

He has been a Council member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) in various terms and serving the current term 2022-2026.  He had been President of Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants (PIPFA) in 1995 and 2015.  He had been Vice-President and Chairman of the Education and Training Committee of ICAP for 2014-2015 and is current Chairman of Education and Training Committee of ICAP.

He had meeting a member of Accounting Standards Board of Pakistan for the term of 2016-2023.  He is Academic Advisor to various higher educational institutions including the Dean of the School for Accountancy and Finance of the University of Lahore.  He is elected Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Bata Pakistan since September 2013.  He served as a co-opted council member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance Accountants term 2016-2021.
