Biography

Originally from Germany, I have been living in the UK for over five years now.  I recently moved to Newcastle to begin my role as a Tax Senior at Armstrong Watson LLP, having previously worked for a similar accountancy firm in Devon.

I have almost completed the ACA-CTA joint pathway - being ACA exam qualified - and I am passionate about supporting others in their professional journey.

Throughout my career, I have always been keen to help students get the most out of their experience.  I served as the Vice-Chair of ICAEW Student Council and the Treasurer of South West England Student Society (SWECASS).

Now as Chair of the Student Council, my goal is to represent students, giving them a voice and help shape the future of ICAEW.  I am particularly focussed on promoting inclusion and accessibility, encouraging people from all different backgrounds to enter the profession and supporting the student through the member journey.
