Biography
Robert has been based in Liverpool all his working life.
He joined the Liverpool office of what was then Coopers & Lybrand Deloitte as a graduate trainee in their tax department in 2001. He spent a number of years working for Grant Thornton. Since 2022, he has been a tax associate director working for RSM in Liverpool and in Chester.
He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, and between 2014 and 2017 he chaired the Merseyside Branch.
In 2018, Robert joined the committee of the Liverpool Society of Chartered Accountants, becoming President for 2023/24. During his term in office, he led on the transition to the new Network model and chaired in the newly created Liverpool Board until October 2024. Robert is still a member of the Committee of the Liverpool Society of Chartered Accountants and the ICAEW Liverpool Board.
