Fees associated with ACA training include an annual student fee, tuition provider costs, exam entry fees, credit for prior learning and learning materials. It is common, but not compulsory, for an employer to pay some or all fees on behalf of their students.

Annual student fee

Annual student fee Invoices will be issued near the end of the calendar year to the QPRT or nominated individual. The invoice will include all students in a training agreement during the year. £197.00 + VAT

The Authorised Training Employer is responsible for paying the student's annual fees unless these have been explicitly passed on to the student.

Credit for prior learning is not available for the Advanced Level exams.

Students in some countries may be eligible to receive credit at a reduced cost. Please contact us for more information. 

Tuition fees

Tuition costs vary depending on the provider used and where they are based. Costs for classroom tuition may differ from those where tuition is provided online.

Learning materials and permitted texts

Learning materials can be purchased individually or in bundles that include the relevant permitted texts. The cost varies for each exam.

Some tuition providers purchase learning materials on behalf of their students so please check this with your provider before purchasing the materials.

Apprenticeship funding

If you are based in England, you can offer the ACA on a Level 4 or Level 7 apprenticeship allowing your organisation to access funding and incentives.

Please note, if you are training an apprentice, they are not permitted to pay any training fees under the apprenticeship funding rules.
