Support and benefits throughout your ICAEW CFAB studies.
Exam and study support
We provide plenty of free guidance and support to help you succeed at your exams. You will need your ICAEW student ID number to access these free study resources. For each ICAEW CFAB exam module, we have:
- Study webinar – understand how the exam marks are awarded for that exam, the tricky areas of the syllabus and how to allocate your time in the exam;
- Study guide – helps put your learning in context and why each subject is important;
- Syllabus – what is covered at each exam subject
- Sample questions and assessments – to help you to practise before you sit the exam; and
- Video demonstration of the scenario-based questions (for the Accounting, Principles of Taxation and Management Information exams).
Student support team
The student support team can offer you help and guidance on a range of issues, including registration, credit for prior learning/exemptions and assessments. You can contact them by telephone, web chat or by email.
Student community
The online student community allows you to ask questions to other ICAEW CFAB students, get their exam advice and get access to the latest resources and industry updates.
ICAEW CFAB study guide
The ICAEW CFAB study guide is sent to all students when they first register as an ICAEW CFAB student. It is designed to help you get started and support you while you study. It includes what to expect in your exams, how to make the most of our study support and career options after ICAEW CFAB.
NUS Extra Card
If you are a UK-based student applying ICAEW CFAB, you can register for an NUS Extra Card – the definitive student discount card. Please note: the NUS Extra Card is not available or valid outside the UK.
Xero cloud accounting programme
Xero, a world-leading cloud accounting software provider, has joined in partnership with ICAEW to offer all ICAEW CFAB students the chance to complete the Xero Advisor Certification Equivalency Course.
