Resources to support you with data analytics software within the Advanced Level Corporate Reporting exam.
You will need to be familiar with how the software works and its various functions and you are strongly advised to work through the guidance notes and practice questions, below.
Advance information
In the Corporate Reporting exam, we have introduced advance information. This comprises two parts:
- 11 months’ financial data for the same company you will see in the exam; and
- an Advance Information document with background information and the scenario.
We have produced an Advance Information Walkthrough guide which explains what the advance information will look like and how you should use it to prepare for your exam. This document also includes an illustrative advance information with examiner's commentary. We advise you read the guidance notes and attempt practice questions one and two before working through the walkthrough guide.
The advance information for the Corporate Reporting exam will be available four weeks prior to the exam on Corporate Reporting Advance Information. You will also find guidance on how to add the advance information to your ICAEW Bookshelf.
Please note only students registered for the relevant exam will be able to access the advance information 11 month data set.
Metrics Module
When you open the Metrics module for the first time, you may be asked to answer four questions before you can access the module. You should select N/A for all questions.
