The Assurance, Risk and Reporting exam is divided into two parts: Part A covers the fundamentals of managing assurance engagements, while Part B teaches students how to prepare financial statements and explain the relevant financial and non-financial reporting treatment.

Exam overview

Duration: 3 hours

Format: Five written questions split into two parts:

  • A: Assurance and Risk (40-50% of overall marks)
  • B: Financial Reporting (50-60% of overall marks)
