The ICAEW Library & Information Service provides an enquiry and information service, together with a world-class collection of books, journals and electronic resources on accountancy and business.

Based at ICAEW's main UK office in London, the Library was established in 1871 and has been part of Chartered Accountants' Hall since it opened in 1893. We have the one of the largest collections of UK accountancy, auditing and tax resources, which is available for reference and borrowing. In addition to the most current titles, we maintain the ICAEW's collection of early works on accounting and hold rare books dating from the 15th century.

The Chartered Accountants' Trust for Education and Research, a registered charity, owns the Library and maintains and operates it for ICAEW.
