The ICAEW Southern’s AGM will take place on Tuesday 21 September and will be held online in the form of a video conference, will start promptly at 4pm and may be expected to take up to an hour.

Although your district society’s activities have been disrupted, along with the rest of life, over the last 18 months, your committee has been working hard to restructure the activities and meetings we pro-vide and to ensure that the support you may need is always there. ICAEW Southern has continued to run an extremely active programme of online events, and to achieve all of this we rely on strong committee involvement, so we are actively looking for members to join the ICAEW Southern committee. Serving on the committee not only improves your CV, it also allows you to make a difference. If you would like to get involved and help ensure that our events continue to represent the needs of our members, then please get in touch with your Senior Regional executive Natalie Buckman

As you may expect, we will be reviewing the events of the past year, including those which took place during Covid and the various lockdowns, and what we have been doing more recently. We will also be rolling out our programme for 2021/22 as well as the new President’s vision for the society and providing you with an opportunity to share your views on what you need from us and from ICAEW, more generally.

I very much look forward to ‘meeting’ you online on 21 September and, in the meantime, wish you a sunny and successful Summer.

Kind regards

Ashley Milne
ICAEW Southern
President
