Born and raised in Cardiff, Carol trained in Birmingham with the Big 4 before returning to Wales in 2000. With extensive business experience, she is an audit and regulatory compliance specialist, previously holding senior roles at Azets including Audit Compliance Principal, Group M & A Compliance Director, UK Head of Audit, and UK Head of Regulatory Compliance. She now leads the Regulatory and Compliance Function within Azets’ Group M & A function, covering the UK and Europe.
Actively involved in Welsh business and ICAEW, Carol has served as South Wales district society member and President, ICAEW Wales Network Board member, and Support Member (Practice) for Wales for over 15 years, as well as Chair of ICAEW’s Audit Committee until June 2024.
