Chris is an experienced ICAEW Chartered Accountant and since June 2024 has chaired the ICAEW Northern Network Board. A Past-President of the ICAEW Northern Society, he is also Associate Dean Education and Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at Newcastle University Business School, with previous roles including Director of Education and leadership of the Flying Start degree in partnership with PwC and ICAEW.
Before academia, Chris worked in the ‘big four’ and both private and public sector industry. He enjoys skiing, travelling, coffee and family life.
