David began his career in Hull, gaining broad professional experience before spending thirty-nine years at East Riding Holdings Company, overseeing accounting, computer systems, and management.
Following retirement in 2014, he became active in the Humberside District Committee, organising events for retired members. David has also held leadership roles in York, including York Society President and Humberside District President, and is a Past Master and court member of the York guild.
