All current Council members and ex-Council members who have retired within three years of the date of the election notice and remain eligible to become Council members, are eligible to stand for election as Chair of the Governance and Appointments Committee, except for the Chair of Council and the Office Holders (President, Deputy President and Vice President).

If you wish to stand for election, please complete the candidate statement and declaration of interest form and then submit the form using the online nomination system. You will also need to obtain the support of two current members of Council.

The deadline for completed nominations is 12:00 (Noon) BST on Tuesday 1 September 2026.
