Professional Level overview
Each Professional Level exam is assessed by a 2.5 hour exam, except for Financial Accounting and Reporting, which is 3 hours. The Professional Level exams are computer-based and are available to sit every March, June, September and December.
Please note, Business Planning: Banking and Business Planning: Insurance will only be available at the June, September and December sittings. The exams are flexible and can be taken in any order. The Business Planning and Business Strategy and Technology modules in particular will help you to progress to the Advanced Level. The pass mark for each exam is 55%.

Six-monthly reviews
It is a requirement of the ACA training agreement that you and your employer meet at least every six months. These meetings are to discuss and monitor your progress on professional development, ethics and professional scepticism, practical work experience and exams.
