There are a number of changes being made to the ICAEW Level 4 Accounting Technician end-point assessment.
We recognise there's quite a lot of change happening in a relatively short period of time and have summarised the key dates and deadlines below.
2026 key dates
For students who started their apprenticeship before 9 June 2025 – you will complete the Role Simulation exam and submit your Portfolio and Reflective Statement.
The last sitting of the Role Simulation and Portfolio and Reflective Statement exam will be December 2026. You only have a limited time to book your Role Simulation exam and submit your Portfolio and Reflective Statement, so it is essential that you plan ahead and make a note of the key dates you need in 2026.
