Searching for work creates stresses for you and often has an impact on your family as well. Here’s some ways we offer personal support no matter what your situation.

Do you know there are different ways CABA can support you?

CABA provides support, information and resources for members of the ICAEW community to enable individuals to promote their own wellbeing. In recognition that members might need some additional support; emotionally/financially at points during their lives, CABA offer a number of support services from free one-to-one career coaching and business start up support for career breakers to emotional and financial support. In some cases, CABA may be able to assist in contributing towards delegate fees and travel costs associated with some training courses.

CABA Career Coaching Support Service

This is a free service for UK-based members that is tailored to individual needs. It can provide face to face coaching, online support and dedicated telephone career coach assistance. Tools include job vacancy databases, a CV builder, interview simulator, career planner and aptitude tests.

Advisory helplines and services

Specialist advisory teams are on hand to support you throughout your career and help with any problems, issues or questions you have. Advice is free and confidential. Whether you have a technical or ethical query, want some career guidance, or need counselling on a personal issue, we’re here to help.

ICAEW Support Members

Support Members offer a totally confidential, non-judgemental support service to members of any age and in all areas of professional activity. All support members are chartered accountants and exempt from the duty to report misconduct.

The support line is FREE when calling within the UK unless you are using a mobile phone, in which case your service provider may charge you for the call. If you are calling outside the UK your call should be charged at normal call rates
