Training and education regulations

The ACA Approved Training Regulations, effective 1 July 2025, outline the requirements and conditions for approved training under the ICAEW. It includes definitions, training duration, conditions, part-time work, secondments, training records, and provisions for suspension and cancellation.

The Authorised Training Employer and Authorised Training Principal Regulations, effective 1 July 2025, outline the criteria and responsibilities for organisations and individuals involved in training provisional members under ICAEW, ensuring compliance with high standards.

These revised regulations came into force on 1 November 2023 and introduce mandatory minimum CPD hours for members and others covered by the rules.
