Second round of farm productivity grants announced on 9 July
In February 2018 a ‘small farm productivity grant’ scheme was announced. The application window was very short, closing in March of that year, but the grants were attractive with a relatively simple application process which did not involve obtaining multiple quotations, but instead followed a 'standard cost' approach where the grant was awarded for very specific items of equipment at 40% of the standard cost irrespective of what was actually paid for the item.
