Doing Your Homework Management GDPR Compliance In May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force with much media attention, and was implemented into the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018). Nearly a year on, the application of the law has been staggering – as in bit by bit, rather than incredible.

It has been a costly and disruptive activity from a business perspective. The changes that businesses have had to make to their existing, or in some cases non-existing, data protection policies and procedures has taken time and we know many are still not fully compliant.
