Corporate governance

Council of Experts Concerning the Corporate Governance Code
Body within Japan's Financial Services Agency responsible for the code. News releases, exposure drafts and other materials are available to download in English. Similar documents are available for the Council of Experts Concerning the Japanese Version of the Stewardship Code.

Asian Corporate Governance Association (ACGA)
A non-profit organisation, whose aim is to improve corporate governance and regulation in Asian countries. Information includes code and rules on company law, accounting standards, regulations and listing rules in Japan.

European Corporate Governance Institute: Index of codes
The ECGI provides a listing of corporate governance codes from Japan, with links to downloadable PDFs and useful organisations. You can also search the codes database by country, title, language and year of publication.
