Quarterly survey produced by the Confederation of British Industry, covering UK manufacturing trends and analysis.
Economic & Labour Market Review (ELMR)
A monthly compendium of UK economic statistics, including manufacturing indices, compiled by the Office for National Statistics.
EEF: The manufacturers' organisation
The EEF produce a number of surveys and data publications, including the quarterly Engineering Outlook and Manufacturing Outlook.
Index of Production (IoP)
Monthly data released by the Office for National Statistics showing the volume of production at base year prices for the manufacturing, mining and quarrying and energy supply industries.
Quarterly report with sector analysis and forecasting published by BDO and EEF.
The monthly releases for the Markit/CIPS UK Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index provide an insight into manufacturing production and the performance of the sector. The index is 'based on data compiled from monthly replies to questionnaires sent to purchasing executives in over 600 industrial companies'.
